If you are planning for the baptism of your child, please complete the form, then call the parish office to confirm receipt at 847-255-7452.
The conversation will center around their relationship with God and the Church and the reasons for requesting Baptism for their child. At this time they will chose/confirm a date for the child's Baptism.
According to Liturgical Norms, there are no Baptisms during Lent.
The Baptismal font is of great importance. By our Baptism we have become members of Christ, dedicated to following him all of our lives. Baptism is our initial sacrament of initiation. -
When are baptisms performed?
There are NO Baptisms during LENT
Baptisms are held the first and third Sunday of the month immediately following the 11:00 am Mass, so approximately noon. Families are invited to attend the 11:00am Mass. Parents having their first child baptized are asked to attend a baptism preparation class.
