SAINTS THOMAS BECKET & ALPHONSUS LIGUORI YOUTH GROUP MINISTRY INVITES YOUNG PEOPLE TO THE MEETINGS!
We invite all young people from grades 7, 8 and High School to join the
Youth Group, which meets at the St. Alphonsus Parish Rectory.
The main purpose of the Youth Group meetings is to introduce young people to the Truth of the Catholic Faith, to form their spiritual and liturgical life, to grow closer to God and build a relationship with Him, as well as to get to know each other, build mutual relationships and friendship based on mutual support and motivation for greater things. In addition, during the meetings young people will learn to work in a group, to be responsible for themselves and others, as well as to respect other people. Part of our meetings will also feature group outings to the movies, mission trips to other states, service hours, dances and games. Our meetings will be divided into two groups and will be held every other week in the lower level of the St. Alphonsus Liguori Parish Rectory "BURKE HALL."
Group I – Youth - grades 7 & 8 - meetings will be held on the second and fourth Friday of each month.
First meeting will be on Friday, September 26th -
from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
Group II – High school Youth - grades 9 to 12 - meetings will be held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
First meeting will be on Sunday, September 28th -
from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
We ask all parents to pass this information on to their children and encourage them to come and participate in these
