October is "Respect Life" month where we remember and pray for the unborn and their beautiful moms. TLC Pregnancy Center, Elgin has merged with Alliance Family Services, offering support, hope and love for women and babies in need. We would be so grateful if you could fill a bottle with coins, bills, or a check. Bottles are available at both churches until October 25th. Please return bottles by November 1st.
The main purpose of the Youth Group meetings is to introduce young people to the Truth of the Catholic Faith, to form their spiritual and liturgical life, to grow closer to God and build a relationship with Him, as well as to get to know each other, build mutual relationships and friendship based on mutual support and motivation for greater things. In addition, during the meetings young people will learn to work in a group, to be responsible for themselves and others, as well as to respect other people. Part of our meetings will also feature group outings to the movies, mission trips to other states, service hours, dances and games. CLICK FOR MEETING TIMES!

Every human life is a sacred gift from God, deserving of love and protection from conception to natural death. The Illinois law known as the End-of-Life Options for Terminally Ill Patients Act will take effect on September 12, 2026. This law allows certain adults diagnosed with an incurable and irreversible illness and given a prognosis of six months or less to live to request medication intended to end their lives. Our response to suffering is accompaniment with compassion + care, now and at the hour of our death. We are providing materials to support these options rather than the physician assisted suicide option, in accord with our Catholic teaching that every person is deserving of dignity, love and care through every stage of life.
